Animals are sentient beings deserving of our compassion and respect,

LeeLee and Lindy both have loved animals forever, and our favorite paintings and drawings are of animals. we always avoided.

Horses because we know them so well, being horsewomen for over 40 years. But now we are going to embrace all our animals.

Sometimes we paint out each others work but still manage to be best friends.

When we start painting there are no preconceived directives, not even color choices.

Each follows the river of the subconscious, it is all about the exploration and revelations along the way.

This approach can end up with thick surfaces that Lindy likes, she incorporates in the discovery process.

Her attention is drawn to the relationship of forms, unrecognizeable shapes that are thought provoking and unworldly.

Lee Lee loves line quality and often starts with that-but it is not planned. She says

inspiration is all in the arm, like a dog pulling on a lease, you must follow it. Her works are chimerical

and prismatic, yet contemplative.
