LeeLee Brazeal, a distinctive voice in contemporary art, was born in Jackson, Tennessee, as one of a pair of identical twins.

Brazeal’s formal journey into the arts began at Guilford Technical Institute in Greensboro, North Carolina, and soon after, she made her way to the School of Visual Arts in the vibrant city of New York.

Post-school Brazeal’s career flourished as she stepped into the high-paced world of advertising, taking on the role of an art director at various agencies. Her talent did not go unnoticed, and she soon became a sought-after illustrator, represented by four remarkable agents.  Winning many accolades for her work with fortune 500 companies. After her 12 years as a national illustrator she and her husband opened an art business creating artwork for big ranches and even for several international companies.

She sold the business in 2020 and has been running wild ever since creating artwork, painting 8 hours everyday.. Embracing a process devoid of constraints, Brazeal's creative process is as intriguing as it is organic. Working on canvas for its sturdy yet lightweight properties, she applies paint in spontaneous layers, scraping and adding, allowing the composition to evolve through trial and error. This method, devoid of direct influences or references, makes her work a pure expression of her inner self, an authenticity that sets her apart in the art world.
